"Wireless range is really disappointing"
I bought this mainly for the wireless sensor, but the range has been awful. It starts losing signal even when the sensor is only about 20 feet away with one wall in between. I tried swapping in fresh batteries and moving both pieces around, but it didn’t really help. What made it even more annoying was having to keep re-checking and verifying whether it was connected again, over and over. At that point the display is useless half the time. I wouldn’t buy this again.

"I wanted to like my Lacrosse weather..."
I wanted to like my Lacrosse weather station, but the battery life has been awful. I’ve already replaced the batteries twice, and it still drains way faster than I expected. It’s frustrating because this is the kind of thing that should just sit there and do its job. At this point, I’m starting to lose trust in it because I don’t know when it’s going to die again...

"Heads up: the weather data is all over the place"
Just a warning for anyone thinking about buying this: my station and the app almost never seem to match. I’ll check the temperature and humidity, and even when everything says it updated at the same time, the numbers are different. Rainfall is even weirder, it’ll show 0 one minute, then later change for no clear reason. I tried resetting it and checking my Wi-Fi, but nothing fixed it. For a device that’s supposed to give accurate weather info, this has been really frustrating. I wouldn’t recommend dealing with the hassle.

"Setup was weirdly more confusing than I expected"
I don’t know if I missed something obvious, but getting this connected took way longer than it should have. I kept trying different things and wasn’t really sure what finally made it work. Once it was set up, it was fine, but the whole setup process was annoying.

"Worked well at first, but didn’t last like my old one"
I liked this weather station while it was working, and it did what I needed for a while. But compared to my old one, which lasted for years, this one dying after about two years was disappointing. It was fine while it lasted, just wish it had held up longer.

"Not worth the price for me"
I ordered from lacrossetechnology.com thinking I was paying a bit more for something that would feel higher quality, but it just didn’t really land that way for me. Setup was fine enough, nothing too painful, but once I actually started using it, it felt basic for the price.

I also felt like the expectations kept shifting, a little like moving goalposts, first I figured the higher cost meant better features, then I told myself maybe it was just built better, but even that didn’t really feel true. It works, sure, but not in a way that makes me feel good about what I spent. I wouldn’t buy it again

"Humidity seems off by a bit"
The humidity reading seems to be off sometimes, maybe by around 5–10% from what I’d expect. It’s not a huge deal and it’s still usable, but I wouldn’t rely on it for super exact readings

"Replacement parts shouldn’t be this hard to track down"
I just needed a basic replacement sensor for my weather station, and I figured it would be an easy thing to order. Nope. I searched their site for a while and couldn’t find it anywhere, which is frustrating because the model really isn’t that old. It makes me hesitant to buy from them again if parts can just disappear like that.

I did email support, but the reply was vague and didn’t really give me a clear next step. I don’t want to keep sinking time or money into something if I can’t even replace one small failed part. Feels wasteful to have to toss the whole unit over a simple sensor.

"Shipping felt suspiciously slow"
I ordered from lacrossetechnology.com the shipping was painfully slow. My package just sat there for days with almost no updates, which made me start wondering if it was stuck in some secret warehouse black hole or if nobody wanted to admit it hadn’t actually moved. By the time it finally showed up, I was already thinking I should’ve bought it from somewhere else. Not the best first experience...

I was already in a hurry and ended up spending about an hour trying to get this paired. The app kept failing, and the station would just drop off Wi-Fi every time. it was a really frustrating waste of time...

"Pretty disappointed"
I really wanted this to work out, but it stopped working way sooner than I expected. I contacted support, they weren’t much help at all. The weird thing I remember is that it made this tiny clicking sound right before it quit, like a pen being clicked over and over. Overall, not a great experience.

"It works, but feels a bit flimsy"
So far it does what it’s supposed to do, no big issues there. But the plastic feels kind of cheap, like if it took a decent knock it might not hold up great. The buttons also wiggle a bit, which makes the whole thing feel less solid. It’s not awful or anything, I just figured the build would be a little tougher.

The outdoor sensor has been frustrating. It keeps dropping the signal. The temps also seem random. I changed the batteries twice. I even moved it closer. It still loses signal almost every day. Not very useful for a weather station.

"Temperature is really not accurate"
I bought one of their weather stations, and the temperature readings are just really off. I set it next to two other thermometers to compare, and most days it’s reading about 4 to 6 degrees different. I tried moving the sensor around, putting in new batteries, and even letting it sit for a day, but nothing changed. For something that’s mainly supposed to tell the temperature, that’s really disappointing. I wouldn’t buy it again

"Screen died suspiciously fast"
I only had this for a few weeks before the screen just gave out. I wasn’t rough with it or anything, so it really feels like it wasn’t built well. it almost seems like they make these things to fail right after you start getting comfortable with them. Disappointing.

"I bought the La Crosse setup..."
I bought the La Crosse setup for my garage and back porch thinking it would be a simple, reliable way to keep an eye on both areas. To be fair, when the sensors are actually connected, the readings seem accurate and the app is easy enough to use.
But one of the sensors keeps dropping off randomly, even with fresh batteries and sitting much closer to the display than I expected it would need to be. Support did respond, but it took a while, and the whole thing just feels less dependable than what I thought I was buying. It’s not terrible, but I definitely feel a little misled about how steady the connection would be

"I really wanted this to be useful, but..."
I really wanted this to be useful, but the temperatures are off pretty much every day. I keep having to check another source just to verify what the actual temp is, which gets old fast. If I have to double-check it all the time, what’s the point? Not worth it for me.
